Installed a shift kit. Need good info?
ok. I have a 1993 Mark VIII that I have installed a Superior Shift kit in. I replaced the valve body and installed the kit and left the rest of the engine with the stock parts in it. Will this ruin my clutches ect over time? HELP!
Not if it was done properly ... but if all you did was install a shift kit VB and pour 4 quarts of new fluid into a transmission with 150,000 miles on it .... you simply have created a worn out transmission with high and tight shift points, when the 95% worn out clutches hit the point of no connection you will still go no where.
