2 dual 4 CVX 12s and a BRZ2400.1D?

ok i would like to know will these two subs be a perfect match for my amp{just recieved thru FedEx} depending on how they are wired?
i been told to go with the dual 2s if i want to run 3 cvx 12s but then i was told{by an auth. kicker dealer} that the 2 dual 4s i already have would be perfect for that amp.
well, the subs are 750/1500w each and the amp....

850w @ 4ohms
1700w @ 2 ohms.
and
2400w @ 1 ohm.

i would think that the 2 dual 4 12s i already have would be overpowered big time no matter how they are wired.
i'm a liitle confused now by what different folks are telling me.
now if there's any other 12" sub out there{other than that new pioneer premier} and for around the same price of a CVX, can you please let me know.
any good advice would be appreciated.....thx

If you run a pair of Dual-4's then you CAN over power them if you don't set your gain right. Just because the amp CAN put out 2400 watts RMS into 1-ohm doesn't mean it will all the time, that is up to you and you knowing when to stop turning the volume up.

I would also agree than 3 dual-2's would be more ideal for this setup though, you could wire them down to 1.33-ohms which would pull about 2000 watts RMS clean from that amp. That means each sub would be getting around 666 watts RMS out of the 750 they can each handle, which is nearly perfect, that extra 84 watts wouldn't even make an audible difference.

As for any other 12" sub out there for around the same price, I would say suggest the following:
If I recall correctly CVX 12's sell for around $300... so...

Fi BL 12" https://ssl.perfora.net/www.ficaraudio.com/sess/utn154dc4b73f8e0f2/shopdata/0050_Speakers/0020_BL/product_overview.shopscript

SSA ICON 12" http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/index.php/product-information/icon.html

These are all awesome subs that I would chose over Kicker CVX's any day, but thats just my taste.

Good Luck!
